GIRLS RUGBY 🏉
The Girls rugby ended off their season on a positive note, by playing Kathleen Murray Primary in Grabouw.
The girls were welcomed by a festive cheerleader squad, making us feel at home and setting up for a positive afternoon of rugby.
Our PARENTS, our biggest supporters were there En Masse, making us feel like it was a home game instead of an away fixture. Facing a very well coached and experienced squad, our girls never gave up fighting. The Blues came back from being 0 - 15 down at half time, to a final score of 22 - 27 for KMP. The Yellows had a tough match where neither team could take clear command of the game. The final score of 20 - 20 was a very fair reflection of the encounter. We learned a lot, and the girls will only improve with time.
Thank you Kathleen Murray Primary for being an outstanding host, and thank you to the Staff, Parents and Supporters of GBPS for making this first year of girl rugby a smashing success.
We look forward to 2027 with excitement and lots of GEES!

Interschools Art Trophy finally arrives!
Our learners thoroughly enjoyed expressing their creativity and artistic talents at the very first Art Interschools.
The learners selected their best print for the judges to adjudicate. We are extremely proud to announce that we were the Best Art Team, receiving the engraved trophy which has just arrived!
A special congratulations to Liyana Alexander (Grade7E) whose outstanding art print was selected as the best artwork overall!
All our learners achieved high marks, positive critique and were awarded a medal for their artistic talent. Our learners can be extremely proud of their achievement! Well done! I
