Baie geluk aan ons O-13-span, wat deurgedring het tot die halfeindstryd van die Bekerafdeling en daarmee ’n top 4-plek in die kompetisie behaal het! Wat ’n besonderse prestasie! 👏

Ons O-11-span was die wenners van die "Bowl"afdeling! 🏆🙌

Baie geluk aan al ons spelers en afrigters met julle harde werk, spanwerk en sportmangees. Ons is baie trots op julle!

GBPS GIRLS RUGBY 🏉

This weekend marked a truly awesome milestone for our school and our community. In a year filled with firsts, Gordon`s Bay Primary fielded their first all girl rugby teams. The girls have been practicing since May this year and finally received an opportunity to showcase what they have learnt.

They participated on Saturday 12 September, in the KFC Strand High School 7`s tournament. GBPS entered 2 teams, the Blues and the Yellows. Both teams performed very well and did their coaches proud, playing positive rugby and not shying away from contact on the field. The parental support next to the field was absolutely overwhelming, and helped motivate the girls to new heights, with the games being streamed live on the Internet adding to the spectacle. The Yellows team won 2 out of 2 matches securing the top spot in the girls division, while the Blues team suffered narrow losses in both their games, but stayed in the fight till the final whistle.

This marks the beginning of something truly special for the young ladies at school, and shows GBPS is a school where all learners are given as many opportunities as possible.

We look forward to watching the girls grow from strength to strength.
